I would like to pose a question? Do you ever have prolonged periods of time where you either can find no new music? Like everything you listen to sounds like something you’ve heard before and lacks that something special? On the contrary have you ever had prolonged periods of time where you’re discovering new artist after new artist (at least new to you) each with multiple albums of songs that just fit your current emotional state and vibe?

I feel like I’m coming towards the tail end of the latter. Some of the artists I’ve been listening to lately includes The Oh Hellos, Flipturn, The Crane Wives, Jason Isbell, Chance Peña, Noah Kahn, and The Amazing Devil. If you’re familiar with any of these bands you’ll likely recognize I’ve been on a somewhat alternative slash folkier kick as of late.
